Recent years have seen rapid advances in various grid-related 
technologies, middleware, and applications. ChinaGrid Project,
an important 211 project funded by Chinese Ministry of Education, 
aims at integrating heterogeneous mass resources distributed in 
the China Education and Research Network (CERNET), sharing those 
resources in the CERNET environment effectively and avoiding the 
resource islands, providing useful services, finally forming the 
public platform for research and education in China. 
The 3rd ChinaGrid Annual Conference (ChinaGrid 2008) is to be held
from August 20 to 22, 2008 in Dunhuang, Gansu, China. Dunhuang is 
world-widely known for its most worthy of scenery, such as Mogao 
Grottoes (also known as the Dunhuang Grottoes), Crescent Moon Spring 
and the Singing Sand Mountains, as well as other charming natural 
beauty. ChinaGrid 2008 is hosted by ChinaGrid Working Group, and 
is undertaken by Lanzhou University.

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTION

ChinaGrid 2008 invites authors to submit original papers. Papers must be
written in English. Submissions must be in an electronic form files and
should be uploaded using the ChinaGrid 2008 submission website:
http://grid.lzu.edu.cn/myreview/index.php?authorsInstructions=1

Final author manuscripts will be 8.5" x 11" (two columns IEEE format), 
not exceeding 8 pages. Helpful information for paper formatting can be

PUBLICATIONS

All submitted papers will be reviewed by program committee members and 
selected based on their originality, significance, relevance, and clarity
of presentation. Accepted papers will be published in the IEEE categorized 
conference proceedings (EI Index). Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit
a revised and expanded version of their papers to be considered for 
publication in special issues of well-known international journals.
