==================== WSCEE'08 CALL FOR PAPERS ==========================
The 2008 Workshop on Scientific Computing in Electronics Engineering (WSCEE'08)
in conjunction with
2008 IEEE 11th International Conference on Computational Science
and Engineering (CSE 2008)
Sao Paulo - Brazil
July 16-18, 2008
Welcome Message
The workshop is mainly intended to be an open forum for discussion on the current
trends and future directions of scientific computing in electronics engineering.
Its aim is to bring together colleagues from university and industry with the goal
of discussion about modeling and simulation of electronic devices,
simulation of integrated circuits, and computational electromagnetism. The emphasis
of the contributions is on interdisciplinary aspects of scientific computing
in electronics engineering. It is mainly directed at mathematicians, physicists,
computer and electrical scientists, where student presentation is strongly encouraged.
The purpose of this workshop is for computational scientists and engineers, computer
scientists, applied mathematicians, physicists, and researchers to present their
recent advances, ideas, results and to exchange experiences in the areas of modeling,
simulation, optimization and other support for problems in electronics engineering.
This workshop is considered as a special workshop in conjunction with the 2008 IEEE
11th International Conference on Computational Science and Engineering (CSE 2008).
We welcome contributions from researchers of academia and industry.
Best Regards,
Workshop Chair Prof. Yiming Li
National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu 300, Taiwan

Paper Submission
Authors are expected to submit a paper in PDF format with 5-10 keywords
following the IEEE CS format. Program committee members and external
reviewers will provide authors with at least three technical reviews.
Submitted papers will be ranked based on relevance to the Conference
and technical merit. Final version of accepted papers should at most 6
pages and will be published by IEEE Computer Society Press as CSE-08
workshops proceedings. Authors of accepted papers, or at least one of
them, are requested to register and present their work at the conference,
otherwise their papers will be removed from the IEEE Digital Library after
the conference.
Please submit your paper to the workshop through the submission page of
CSE 2008 (http://cse.stfx.ca/~cse08workshops/sub/). The IEEE instructions
and template files for preparing papers are available here . For any questions,
please contact Prof. Yiming Li via e-mail (ymli at faculty.nctu.edu.tw) .
