BACKGROUND 

HPC-GECO/CompFrame 2007 is the second joint event from the HPC-GECO
and CompFrame workshop series. This two day workshop focuses on the
role of component and framework technologies in high-performance and
scientific computing, and on high-level, component-based and
innovative programming tools and environments to efficiently develop
high performance applications and exploit them both on individual
massively parallel systems and on the Grid.

PREVIEW

This year's workshop include 16 papers in sessions on:
* Frameworks and Architectures
* Development Methodologies
* Performance and Reliability
* Component Composition
* Scientific Applications
* Communication Paradigms
with ample time scheduled for discussion.  The full (preliminary)
program can be found on the CompFrame web site, above.

REGISTRATION

Workshop registration is through the ooPSLA 2007 web site,
http://www.oopsla.org.  On the registration form, select the
"CompFrame" workshop.  We encourage you to consider extending your
stay in Montreal to attend ooPSLA too!

early registration.
