TECHNICAL COMMITTEE ON SCALABLE COMPUTING (TCSC)

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR TC CHAIR

The Technical Committee on Scalable Computing (TCSC) is requesting
nominations for the position of TC Chair for the upcoming elections. The
deadline for nominations is November 23, 2007. Once nominations are
received, an electronic ballot will be sent to all TCSC members, using which
they will be able to vote for the next TC chair. Candidates will be asked to
submit a brief biography and a position statement (up to one page in
length), which will be included with the election ballot.

Chair Term:  2 years (January 2008 - December 2009) A candidate allowed to
take this position maximum 2 consecutive terms only.

Please list those colleagues who you wish to nominate to run for the
position of TC Chair for TCSC. Those running for TC Chair must be members of
the TCSC and Computer Society. Please provide a contact number for us to
reach them.  You may nominate yourself.

Parashar <parashar at caip.rutgers.edu>. Please include "TCSC CHAIR
NOMINATION"in the subject of your email. Please include brief statements on
candidate's experience in community services especially in IEEE, research
leadership roles, and the level of commitment candidate willing to put as
TCSC leadership involves significant investment of time and energy.
