Professors Emmanuel Udoh and Frank Wang are starting to edit the
Encyclopedia of Grid Computing Technologies and Applications. They have
a web page for this project at:
http://users.ipfw.edu/udohe/gridintro.htm
One of the links on the website is a call for papers, which says:
Calls for New Entry Proposals
Encyclopedia of Grid Computing Technologies and Applications (EGCTA)
solicits articles in all areas of grid computing from concepts to
applications. EGC publishes peer-reviewed scientific papers in
English and welcomes contributions on current trends, new issues,
tools, societal impact, directions for future research and
developments in grid technology and applications. The editorial
collective welcomes contributions beyond the topics listed in the
suggested list, particularly if the topic is related to the research
area in which you have expertise.
Submission (see Procedure) implies that the original work has not
been previously published or under consideration for publication by
another body, and that the publication is approved by all
co-authors. Electronic submission is required to enable a rapid
turnaround time for the encyclopedia.
All practitioners and researchers are invited to send the Proposal
Form to udohe123 at yahoo.com. Authors will be notified about the
status of their proposals. Upon acceptance, the authors will have
two months to prepare the article (3000 -- 3500 words) and 7-10
related terms with appropriate definitions. All submitted articles
will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Authors will be
provided with organizational guidelines to write the entry (Schedule).
Note: Please, feel free to distribute this call for new entries to
colleagues who might be interested in this new project.
The encyclopedia is published by Idea Group Inc., a leading
publisher of information science and technology research with global
distribution network.
If you are interested in submitting to this project, please follow the
instructions on the website.
Thanks,
Dan
